Checkout Natural Tiles and Grout!
These tiles have been made for many
years with clay forced into forms by hand, then stack up in brick or peat
kilns and fired for about eight hours. When they cool they are a little
curved and warped. That is what makes them so natural looking. They are used
in almost every country but each has a different look. Some have rounded
corners and some are square. They come in octagonal shapes also.

Saltios are Natural Clay Tiles or Pavers
If you get one or two with animal paw prints in them,
use
them and that is said to be good luck!
These were made by cutting 6x6 tiles out of 12x12
clay tiles and sealing them 3
times before
grouting
with a good penetrating grout sealer & release and sealed with a semi gloss
sealer 2 times after grouting. These step are very important. If you don't
seal them first, the thin set mortar and the Grout will stain the clay
tiles.
These are same as above
in the 12"X12" Size

If these tiles are laid outside over
concrete, they should be laid with epoxy thin sets especially if it is in cold areas
where freezing is a problem. If you don't, you will be re-laying them
within a week after the cold snap.
When laying tile inside I always lay it over concrete or
tile backer board. Never lay over wood, you will just create problems down
the road.

Many coats of a good clear gloss sealer with
proper drying time between coats is well worth the time.
